About this piece
Lush grasses dotted with small white flowers lead into a grove of trees, their leaves running from deep green to gold beneath a dense yellow sky, with a small blue peak just visible above the treeline at the far left. The painting was shown in Copenhagen in 1893, three years after Van Gogh's death. This reproduction is made from the Art Institute of Chicago's open-access file.
